Those of you who have been following BlackDroog over the past decade know that he is not one to conform to convention. His catalogue of instrumentals cover the gamut of musical experimentation from traditional soul samples, to cinematic soundscapes, to boom-bap hip hop, sci-fi inspired compositions and other stuff that is just...weird (all due respect). Although his music spans the universe, there is a common sound and level of creativity that is unique to say the least. In his latest offering, BlackDroog teamed up with group of individuals appropriately named, The BlackDroog Band, to bring an experimental rock-themed 10-track album full of heavy riffs, haunting special effects, distorted guitar sounds and, of course, the hard drums that BlackDroog fans have grown accustomed to.
